Last summer I was back in New York shooting for the first season of a brand new comedy series from executive producer Samantha Bee (The Daily Show, Full Frontal), writer Jodi Lennon (At Home with Amy Sedaris) and showrunner Leo Allen (Nathan For You). Featuring under-qualified and over-confident Brit, Amy Hoggart, the show seeks to make Americans feel better by attacking issues that make their lives - and Amy's - harder. This was such a challenging and unique production. I’ve never shot anything like it, but we had a great team and I am super excited to share the finished product. It’s going to be weird and wonderful.
Shot on location in New York, Miami, London and Scotland, the 8 episode series will premiere on TruTV on Feb 26, 2020.
